Week 12

Monday, March 27th, 2006

Oooh, a travel related one. I went up on the map, to Northland. Birmingham to be precise, for Bethan’s birthday. We pubbed, curried, and pubbed some more, chatted about all the usual things you chat about in a pub, were generally silly, then headed home. Oh, and there was some Blake’s 7 - I say *some*, I really mean the same shot of a corridor over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and ……(you get the hint ;o) )

Still, had a great time(even though it was cold and rainy and north ;o) )

Weeeeek 11

Friday, March 17th, 2006

On to a more musical first this week (and no, before you ask, it wasn’t trying to burp whilst saying the words ‘Battlestar Galactica’ - I still swear nobody can do it) … Si and I went to see Andrew playing in the Southampton Uni Concert Band.

Had a very good night, lots of music we recognised, some we didn’t, a good laugh at the many jokes we could make about the trumpet and flute player…., and a great finale where we were playing ‘guess the film’

Race For Life

Friday, March 10th, 2006

Well, I’ve decided that it’d be a good idea to take part in this. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it’s a 5km run for Cancer Research UK - more info here

So, this is a blatant request for people to sponsor me! I’ll be running at 11am on Sunday 16th July in Southampton. Note the word running … I’m going to run the race, no walkies for Liz!

Week 10

Tuesday, March 7th, 2006

Well, this was another little experiment.

I’ll let this explain it ….
(NB if you’re using Firefox, you might want to right click, save target as - well, unless you can view video as loads of letters and numbers)

Raw sewage

Monday, March 6th, 2006

What a stupid phrase! Is there any other kind? And if so, are you meant to cook it? How are you meant to cook it? And what would you serve it with? *boggles*

Week 9

Friday, March 3rd, 2006

Oh yeah, we’re onto week 9. Yet another culinary masterpiece this week - I promise to do something crazy again next week instead of just messing around with this food malarkey!

Aaaaaaanyway, Monday saw Martin, Si and myself heading round to Andrew’s for a pancake-fest. Much fun was had with all of us making pancakes. So, the new thing was me having my pancakes with chilli. Oh, and cheese. Mmmmm, chilli and cheese pancakes. Suprisingly yummy. Even better if you eat them while watching Bill Bailey.

On to 10 ……. already got something entertaining in the pipeline, as it were ;o)
