Well, a weekend at home, and I thought I’d crack on with decorating the bathroom. I started off this afternoon with taking the wallpaper down - it’s bloody awful, but then that’s not all that suprising considering the naff pink frilly curtains they had in there *shudder*

Anyway, I started taking the wallpaper down, and it’s horrible stuff. Shiny on the top, so you have to strip all that off first, before you can dampen the stuff underneath and then take that off. Needless to say, I’m only half way through doing it. Although I have found that the walls underneath the paper is very uneven and scratched, and generally looks to have been plastered by Stevie Wonder. Oh, and did I mention that it’s not level. Idiots. And to top it off, they screwed the loo roll holder to the concrete, then platered *round* it - grrr.

Going to take a few days longer than expected to sort this one out.

Well, another busy weekend - whistabubble and canters on friday night, then back to margate on saturday morning, before back up to canters for the SunStart reunion - photos to appear soon. Then sunday back in margate sorting out Hazel’s computer before heading back to southampton. Busy busy!

Ok, for a while now I’ve thought that the spiders of the world were out to get me, but have been told on many *many* occasions that is not the case, and it’s just me being a girl.

Well, I now have proof that they’re evil. Mum bought me one of those long handled bug catching thingumyjigs to save me from having to jump on the sofa and scream for someone to come help me. So, last night, imagine my horror to find a huuuuuuge spider sitting *on top of the damn spider catcher*. Damn thing was laughing at me, I’m sure. I had to run upstairs to get Alex to come get it for me - he must be getting tired of that.

Oh, and I bumped into Helen (that I used to go to school with) online earlier - she’s out doing physio like things in New Zealand - was good to catch up
